You ensure that your important files and photos always have backup and avoid the risk of losing valuable data. Take pictures and videos without worrying about whether they take up space! Additionally, you can use the archive to free up local storage space on your devices, so you always have enough room for new experiences and work. The subscription gives you maximum storage speed up to 5 TB, after which the upload speed gradually decreases, but you can still store as much as you want.

Original and uncompressed quality: The files you upload to Jottacloud remain in their original quality without any form of compression. Whether you're storing high-resolution images, videos, or documents, you can be sure they will retain the same quality as when they were uploaded. This also applies when you share files with others: no quality is lost. Jottacloud supports a wide range of file formats, including RAW files, so you can store projects and digital documents in the correct format.

100% renewable energy: When you store your data in Jottacloud, you help reduce climate emissions. Our data center is powered by 100% renewable energy sourced from Norwegian hydropower, one of the cleanest energy sources in the world. Additionally, the servers are cooled by naturally cold seawater, reducing the need for energy-intensive cooling systems. Every file, photo, and video you store with Jottacloud is stored sustainably!

As a Norwegian company, we are committed to following strict Norwegian privacy regulations, in addition to European GDPR rules. Privacy is part of our culture when we develop Jottacloud and is central to the choices we make! All files, photos, and documents you store with us are protected by high privacy standards. No one, neither authorities, third-party providers, nor others, will have access to what you store in Jottacloud.

Automatic backup of all your devices: Jottacloud allows you to back up all your devices, regardless of operating system. Whether you use Windows, macOS, Android, or iOS, you can easily and automatically back up all your devices. Automatic backup ensures that your data is continuously backed up in real-time as soon as you use your devices, so you always have the latest version of your data stored securely in Jottacloud. You choose which folders you want to back up, such as your camera roll, documents, or entire disks, so you can prioritize important data.

Synchronization between all your devices: Easily synchronize files between your devices and Jottacloud. When you make changes to a file on one device, it will automatically be updated on your other devices, such as computers, mobile phones, and tablets. You can synchronize any folder you want and choose where they are placed on your other devices. Additionally, you can choose which changes to synchronize, so you can choose which devices receive the latest changes and which ones remain unchanged. When synchronization is active, your files will be updated wherever you are and whichever device you are using.

Access anywhere via mobile app: With Jottacloud's mobile app, you can access your files, photos, and videos wherever you are. The mobile app is available for both iOS and Android, giving you full access to all your content directly on your phone and tablet. Easy file sharing: Easily share individual files, entire folders, or create a public link. When you share files and folders with others, you maintain control over who has access and what permissions they have. Choose whether the recipient can only view the content or whether they have permission to edit and modify. You can easily revoke access at any time. You can also create a public link for specific content and choose whether the link should have a password. Sharing files, photos, and videos has never been easier!
